Uitgegeven in <strong>1855<\/strong> te Amsterdam door C.A. Spin als deel van \u201c<em>Gezigten in de Omstreken van &#8216;s Gravenhage en Leyden<\/em>\u201d. Later met de hand gekleurd. Afm. (incl. tekst) 19 x 24,5 cm.<\/p>\n<p>Huis Ter Wadding, dat gebouwd is op een stuk grond dat vroeger eigendom was van <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kasteleninnederland.nl\/kasteeldetails.php?id=235\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">kasteel De Werve<\/a>, komt in 1687 voor het eerst ter sprake. Men spreekt dan van een &#8220;huizinge&#8221; Ter Wadding en van een tuinmanswoning en een aanleg (&#8220;plantagi\u00ebn&#8221;). Eigenaar in dat jaar van het goed wordt de Leidenaar Johannes Minne<sup id=\"cite_ref-1\" class=\"reference\"><\/sup>. Tevens wordt het genoemd in 1729, bij de veiling na het overlijden van de eigenaar. Het huidige huis werd omstreeks 1768 gebouwd op de fundamenten van een eerder huis. De opdracht werd gegeven door Willem van Noort, telg uit een Leids geslacht van lakenververs.<\/p>\n<p>In 1964 vertrok de laatste bewoner, de weduwe A.E.S.R. Insinger.
