Uit het &#8220;<em>Album d\u00e9di\u00e9 \u00e0 mes enfants et mes amis<\/em>&#8220;. \u00a0Afm.: (incl. tekst) ca. 46 x 60 cm.<\/p>\n<p>Industrieel <a title=\"Petrus Laurentius Regout\" href=\"https:\/\/nl.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Petrus_Laurentius_Regout\">Petrus Regout<\/a> kocht het complex tegenover <a href=\"https:\/\/nl.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Grand_H%C3%B4tel_du_L%C3%A9vrier_et_de_l%27Aigle_Noir#19e_eeuw:_ontstaansgeschiedenis\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Grand Hotel Le Levrier<\/a> aan de Maastrichtse Boschstraat in 1850 en liet het verbouwen tot drie herenhuizen, bestemd voor enkele van zijn zonen. Zijn zonen vertrokken al vrij snel uit het pand, waarop Regout de <a href=\"https:\/\/nl.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Refugiehuis\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">refugie<\/a> in 1857 liet verbouwen tot twaalf huurappartementen voor leidinggevenden in zijn fabriek. Tegenwoordig is in het complex Hotel Monast\u00e8re gevestigd.<\/p>\n<p>Het bijzonder mooi uitgegeven \u2018<em>Album d\u00e9di\u00e9 \u00e0 mes enfants et mes amis<\/em>\u2019 dat Petrus Regout had laten illustreren met prachtige chromolitho\u2019s, toont zijn bezittingen aan landgoederen, huizen en tuinen, molens, maar ook zijn fabrieksgebouwen aan de Boschstraat in Maastricht.
