This poster design was made for publisher “O. De Rycker S.A. Ateliers d’Impressions d’Art Publicité” in Brussels. De Rycker (active between 1894-1954) had a large number of well-known artists working for them in the first half of the 20th century to make advertising designs (mostly posters). After making the design, the drawing was put on different stones and lithographed.
